All our tutors are graduates or otherwise qualified teachers in specialised subjects.

All tutors have been carefully vetted and are DBS checked. They are committed to each of their students and are able to set homework if the student or parent wishes. Most of our language tutors are native speakers and can help with speaking, listening, reading and writing. They can also help students who are planning to travel abroad and wish to brush up their lingual skills.

In recent years, we have taught the following subjects:

We also have availability to offer language training for local firms on our premises for small groups or in your firms training area. With the main European languages, we can give the teaching a business emphasis from the start. For languages other than French, German, Spanish and Italian, the A Level fee applies.

GCSE & A Level

Tuition is beneficial for students who have missed some of their course through absence or change of school, or if they are having problems with examination technique or revision. We can help students retake an examination to achieve a higher grade.

Preparations for examination

One on One tuition can make you more confident and can help you to achieve a higher examination grade. We offer courses in preparation for a range of examinations including: 11 Plus, SATs, GCSE, GCE, AS & A Level.

Tuition is given on our premises in Colchester in 1 hour, 1 1/2 hour or 2 hour weekly sessions. Intensive courses can be arranged. We are open throughout the year, daytime and evening and on Saturday mornings.

Younger Students

We can also help if a student has learning difficulties, needs extra help with reading, spelling, writing etc or if a student is preparing for SATs, the 11 Plus selection tests or for the entrance tests to independent schools.
